I am a bench scientist turned entrepreneur with an eye for opportunity and an uncanny ability to connect. With expertise in both science and business, I founded Cap Consulting, LLC to flexibly apply in-demand skills in consulting roles.
As an independent consultant, I have worked for biopharma companies at all stages of development as well as for university technology transfer offices, business incubators, and economic development organizations.
My ideal clients are academics eager to see their research findings help patients but who lack the time and/or knowledge to make it happen. As an extension of the research team, I can help guide all stages of commercial development, from legal incorporation and elevator pitch to experiment triage and operations management.
Colleagues appreciate my sense of humor, direct communication style, and energetic servant approach.
PhD in Cell/Molecular Physiology from Case Western Reserve University; Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Neurosciences, Neuroinflammation, and Spectral Imaging at the University of Calgary (Canada).
